He really allowed us to be ourselves…

Well, let me start by saying that the day of my wedding was the best day of my life! Michael and I had so much fun. I think that Kerry’s easy going style allowed everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable — sometimes we didn’t even know he was there! He really allowed us to be ourselves. At the same time he gave enough guidance to produce wonderful images that I’m proud of and will enjoy with family and friends for many years to come.

We were amazed…

Kerry Wooten is the most creative, flexible, effective photographer I have had the pleasure to work. He came to our school to do school photographs when I was a teacher, and I was amazed with his ability to catch the gleam in our students’ eyes in those few short seconds that each child had in front of the camera. Over several years there were a number of school photographers who came, but none were as good at catching the spirit of the child as Kerry had been. So when I became principal, I sought him out and contracted with him to do all of our school photographs. Over those 13 years I was never disappointed in the pictures he was able to produce for our families.

In planning our daughter’s wedding, we talked with Kerry about doing both the engagement and wedding photographs. Young people at that age are often very difficult to please, but they were delighted with his pictures. I was very pleased with the way he worked with the bride and groom, our family, guests and wedding party to put everyone at ease and capture special moments without being intrusive. Infact, we were amazed at some of the shots he had taken, because we rarely were aware of his presence!

I now have 3 wonderful grandchildren and trust no one else to take the portrait pictures of them. Again, he has the unique talent to be able to quickly catch the gleam in their eyes and put them at ease. The portraits are both beautiful and truly them—not some staged production.

Finally, we have had several family gatherings of thirty or more people of varying ages and temperments. Kerry came, wandered about our family, catching special moments without us being aware of his presence. He was able to get group pictures we could never have had. These are priceless.

I do not hesitate to recommend Kerry Wooten Photography to anyone who is interested in preserving the special moments of their family’s life through quality photographs.

Easy to work with and inconspicuous…

We were so delighted with Mr. Wooten’s photographs at our wedding in December of 1999 that our daughter chose Kerry Wooten Photography for her wedding in July. Kerry is very easy to work with. He goes out of his way to capture those special moments, but he is careful to be as inconspicuous as possible.

As a minister’s family we especially appreciated Kerry’s respect for the marriage ceremony. He always asked when and where it would be appropriate to take pictures before and during the ceremony.
